Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) due to treatment failure is the most invasive, common, and deadly brain tumor. GBM recurrence is inevitable in a short time. The most common chemotherapy for GBM is temozolomide (TMZ), which drug resist. Selenium nanoparticles as a strong antioxidant with much less toxicity than the element selenium. Nano drugs containing and without Chitosan were fabricated with this method. Selenium particles are reduced with ascorbic acid because nano selenium has a negative charge and temozolomide has a positive charge. After dissolving the Euderagit in its solvent, acetone was added drop by drop, then chitosan was made in 0.1% solvent and added to the above solution. This method is to make nano selenium loaded with temozolomide with chitosan. To make nano selenium loaded with temozolomide with Eudragite, the chitosan coating is not added to the above solution. The prepared nanoparticles were confirmed by SEM, EDAX, TGA methods. The effect of nano drug with chitosan coating is much better than nano-drug without chitosan coating because chitosan can hold the drug better and release the drug in the acidic cells that are characteristic of cancer cells.
