Nanofluids based on carbon nanotube show higher heat transfer properties compared to the base fluid at different conditions. Carbon nanotube as a nanomaterial with significant thermal properties has been used to increase the thermal conductivity of water as the most important fluid used for cooling. The tendency of carbon nanotubes to agglomerate in aqueous solutions is one of the main problems for their use in the synthesis of nanofluids. Cu was inserted to CNT structure using impregnation method. Ultrasonic waves reduce the particle size by emitting energy, and surfactants repel the surface of nanoparticles by causing surface repulsion and stabilizing them in solution. Their effect on the thermal conductivity of nanofluids has also been investigated. Zeta potential and visible-ultraviolet spectroscopy have been used to evaluate the nanofluid stability. The results show about 15% increase in thermal conductivity coefficient using 0.5% wt carbon nanotube in the aqueous solution.
