Stem cell therapy as a new therapeutic approach also has attracted great interest (1,2). Curcuminoids are popular for their pleiotropic therapeutic functions, such as their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects (3). Curcuminoids can enhance the usability of other drugs such as stem cell therapy for chronic disease (4). Nonetheless, their clinical use is associated with poor systemic bioavailability and insolubility. The nano-formulation of curcuminoids eliminates these shortcomings (5). Here we have examined the effect of nano micelle form of Curcuminoids on adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells. Material and Methods: In the present study, we explored the proliferative and anti-oxidant effects of nanocurcuminoids on adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (AT-MSCs). Flow cytometry analysis and MTT assay were employed to explore the effects of nanocurcuminoids on the apoptosis and proliferation of adipose-derived MSCs (ATMSCs). Results: Our findings demonstrate that low concentrations of nanocurcuminoids are beneficial for MSC proliferation, protection of MSCs from apoptosis Conclusions: The beneficial effects of nanocurcuminoids on anti-apoptotic and proliferation of AT-MSCs were mainly observed at low doses of nanocurcuminoids.
