Today, the use of nanoparticles in biological applications has considerably increased. This has raised many concerns about the effect of nanoparticles on the body's biomolecules. Therefore, it is crucially important to study the effect of nanoparticles including zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO-NPs) on the structure change of proteins including Tau protein. In order to investigate the interaction of zinc oxide nanoparticles with Tau protein, UV spectroscopy, CD spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy were performed. Our observations of the interaction of zinc oxide nanoparticles with Tau protein not only indicated the accumulation of this protein structure but also indicated a change in the structure of the Tau protein. The results of CD spectroscopy showed that zinc oxide nanoparticles changed the structure of the Tau protein Alpha spiral and beta pages. In summary, zinc oxide nanoparticles showed a destructive effect on the structure of Tau protein. These data demonstrate the safety aspects of zinc oxide nanoparticles in natural proteins and cells and their biological application. Which emphasizes further study on the use of zinc oxide nanoparticles. Due to the fact that it leads to a change in the structure of the Tau protein, which in turn leads to Alzheimer's.
