In this study, the effect of ascorbic iron nanoparticles at a concentration of 1% on delaying the aging of white and red gerbera cut flowers was investigated. Which is treated as a solution in sterilized bottles. Ascorbic Iron Nanoparticle Size Cumulative (2): 10.0 (%) - 49.2 (nm) % Cumulative (6): 50.0 (%) - 59.5 (nm) % Cumulative (10): 90.0 (%) - 78.0 (nm) , The results showed that the application of 1% ascorbic iron nanoparticles caused the greatest delay in the aging of flowers compared to the control (distilled water). The fresh weight and diameter of flowers treated with 1% ascorbic acid were higher than other treatments. The results of antioxidant enzymes (catalase and superoxide dismutase) and malondialdehyde and in gerbera cut flowers within 13 days for ascorbic iron nanoparticles showed that the commercial status of gerbera flower was above 90%. According to the physiological results of antioxidant and non-antioxidant enzymes, the activity of catalase increased in flowers treated with ascorbic acid 1 g / l and ascorbic iron nanoparticles. The activity of superoxide dismutase gradually decreased with the aging of flowers stored in distilled water, while the use of ascorbic acid 1 g / l prevented its reduction. Also, the use of ascorbic acid 1 g / l delayed the aging of flowers by preventing the increase of malondialdehyde. Therefore, storage of white and red gerbera cut flowers in ascorbic iron nanoparticle solution caused a special delay in flower aging.
