Researchers have focused on nanofibrous scaffolds in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine due to mimicking the ECM structure of target tissues. The aim of the present study was to fabricate an electro-conductive scaffold using poly-caprolactone (PCL) and poly-pyrrole(PPY) particles and evaluate its biocompatibility and electro-inductive on Conjunctiva derived mesenchymal stem cell(CJMSCs). In the present study, the PCL-PPY nanofibrous scaffold fabricated using the electrospinning method. The morphological properties of the scaffolds were characterized by SEM and TEM techniques. The electro-conductivity of the PCL and PCL_PPY scaffolds was evaluated through the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS). MTT assay was performed to investigate the biocompatibility of scaffold. The obtained results showed the successful creation of PCL-PPy nanofibers. In addition, the conductivity of the PCL and PCL-PPy scaffolds were measured as 15 ohms and 20 ohms, respectively. According to the MTT assay data, CJMSCs on PCL-PPy scaffold has represented as a biocompatible substrate toward CJMSCs. In summary, the PCL-PPy scaffold has shown promising potential regarding electro-conductivity and biocompatibility to be used in nerve tissue engineering
